These projects are almost done. In fact they all are in the final stitch stage. Where a mere inch or final decrease is all that is necessary. A button sewn or a blocking bath is all that is required.
I have some knitting goals for this summer. The first is to finish the projects that have just a bit left to do. Then, it will leave room to begin projects for the holidays as July seems to be when I like to cast-on new projects.
Why July? I have absolutely no idea. None the less it happens over and over, year after year. So this year I'm preparing for it. Plans to finish those lingering projects to make room for new. It feels pretty good too.
In between the storeroom shuffle that I have been doing and attempting to finish by July 1st, a self-imposed deadline, I will be putting in a stitch or two. As sort of a reward for ploughing through the storeroom and too much stuff.
Now with the baby napping and the other children happily engaged elsewhere I'm off to keep sorting/clearing/storing. And maybe, just maybe I'll have pictures to share soon.
Hope your summer Monday has started out well.
See you tomorrow.

I love coming here to see your knitting projects. Your yarn, the textures!! Gorgeous. I tend to want to start projects in July as well, I guess that's when I've had enough of the heat and start thinking cool thoughts.

Thank you Julie! I love to share knitting and it's nice to know others enjoy seeing it as well. Your knitting and patterns are fabulous. I made the crown for my littlest girl and it was wonderful to knit. So here's to July cast-ons!
