This is one of "those" moments. A moment when you didn't think it was possible but you fall even more in love with your child than you were before. A moment when all this cuteness outweighs the bag of beans they just got into in the pantry and spilled all over the floor.
All day my little one has been carrying his baby around. All Day. This is the baby that we had the new bed for on his birthday. He is taking such good care of him. Tucking him into bed at nap time and in the evening. He makes sure he has his shoes on at all times when not sleeping. He likes us all to be quiet when the baby is sleeping. Really quiet. Oh man, I'm in love.
He did show me today that baby carrying can be combined with the arts as well. With a found piece of chalk leftover from the summer he created some artwork with baby on his hip. Isn't that good to know? That all mamas multi-task as second nature. And, that one of those things can be art, knitting, sewing, painting, just about anything we could imagine.
I'm loving that.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend with lots of creating time.
Thank you all for being such "art" inspirations to me.
Love it, how sweet. That's the same sling my 5 yo has, and she loves it as well.

All the pictures are so full of life, but the second picture captures his "older" self so beautifully -- bravo!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new picture in your header.

This made me smile so much - my older boy loved to push his 'sister' (doll) around in a buggy - shopping, to school, visiting friends - now he is 11 it doesn't really happen but he is still so gentle with any little ones we meet, a side effect of all that caring when he was small I am sure. Seeing your photo's brought all those happy memories back - thank you!
