Here they are-- A mermaid, and my two little gnomies. What fun these costumes were to create. They had a wonderful time parading at school yesterday. They are now ready for the Halloween journey today at school. They will meet gnomes, mermaids, and maybe have a conversation with Mother Nature. It is an amazing journey that our Waldorf school provides. Just a bit more depth to the season. I love that. Instead of piles of candy my children will have treasure bags full of crystals, shells, honey sticks, bulbs, and maybe some organic lollipops from mama. Making halloween sweet but not too sweet.
Hope your Halloween adventure is the perfect sweetness for you and your children.
Happy Halloween!
I love the mermaid costume. All of the different fabrics that tie together so well, and the lovely yarn/seaweed necklace. I hope I might be so creative with my own childrens costumes in the futre. Thank you for sharing.

Are you very very certain your two boys aren't gnomes? They seem less like costumes than like second skins. I love the sweaters under the overalls, as well.
Please tell the mermaid that I heard this kind of shimmery tail dragging is all the rage with fashionistas. Loved the seaweed necklace--and LOVED the shoes!
