Here are a few simple gifts sent out for Christmas.
The plum burgandy wristers were part of a whole knitting basket for a dear friend who just started to knit. Yeah! I always love new knitters.
This is a pattern I've done quite a few times. They are Warm. They are Fun. And, had I more time these would have had some delightful embroidery on top. Yes, finishing them in time to send turned out to be more important than embellishing.
These are delicious chunky knits. A small pile of wool to wrap around your neck. This was a pattern that I used for some of my favorite teachers this year. I love this pattern because its easy but it looks so lovely when its done. The hardest part is sewing on the buttons. This can take months in some cases. Or maybe just that one time. They are warm in those bitter cold windy days and I love to spread some love around to our dear teachers.
I had many, many other projects on the needles. ummm, too many. I'm almost finished with some and not even close with others. Some of the bigger pieces I decided deserve their own post mostly because they took me so long to finish. Hopefully, in the next few weeks I will be sharing those with you.
That is the end of the Handmade Holidays for this year, or last year. Thank goodness. Now we can focus on this new year and what it has to offer.
Have a Fabulous Tuesday!
